Happy Monday Friends! How are you all doing? We have reached another week in September and I can't believe the month is almost over! Today I am sharing our field trip to Russell Farms! We ended our Letter A curriculum with this fun trip to explore all the fall things and to pick apples! The kids had such a blast and we got some HUGE apples for our apple crisp recipe. It was the perfect, fall day with beautiful weather and tons of opportunity for learning!
We talked about how we pick the apples from the trees, how apple cider is made and then we discovered all the different colors pumpkins can be! My personal favorite was the white pumpkins and the kids fell in love with the bright pink ones and all the fun shaped ghords!
With us learning at home this year I wanted to incorporate as many field trips as I can to make it more engaging for the kids! I feel like learning abut something is so much more interesting when you are able to see it in "REAL LIFE". We are looking forward to more field trips as the year goes on!
We took a ton of fun pictures and I hope that all of you enjoy them as much as we did taking them!
Have a beautiful day everyone!!
XO
Kim
