🇺🇸Happy Veteran's Day🇺🇸

Good Morning! I hope all of you are having a great Wednesday!

Veteran's Day will always have a significant meaning in our lives. Both Gregg and I come from a military background and we always make an effort to remember all the veterans who have served, are still serving and have passed serving our country. I feel that it is so important to teach our kids how to honor and pay tribute to all the veterans.

This year the kids and I all made cards to send to a local Veterans Home which I highly encourage you all to do since a lot of those veterans don't get to see many faces, especially with Covid.

I also wanted to create a fun craft for the kids for the actual holiday and that is what I will be sharing with all of you today!

Here Is What You Will Need:

-Popsicle Sticks ( The Bigger Ones)

-Red, White, And Blue Paint

-Paintbrushes

- Star Stickers

Here Is What You Will Do

-Have your little ones paint the popsicle sticks

-Hot glue another stick to the back of the painted sticks to hold them in place

-Glue one stick on the side as a handle for the flag

-Have your kids add stickers to the blue section and the handle if they would like

All painted and ready to be glued together!

All glued and ready to add some pretty stars!

I LOVE how they came out!

I hope all of you enjoyed this activity! It was such a great way to talk about our flag and how
important Veterans Day is. I hope all of you spend the day celebrating all the Veterans in your lives.
Have a great day!

XO

Kim
