Inch By Inch AND Dirt Cups

 

Happy Monday Friends! Today in homeschool we continued with the Letter I! Our read aloud was this adorable story about an inch worm that wants to measure all the different animals that he comes in contact with. Then a very hungry nightingale threatens to eat him if he doesn't measure her song, so this very capable and brave inchworm has to figure out a way out of this! It is a very sweet book and I know your little ones will love it. 

So to extend this activity the kids and I decided to make DIRT CUPS! Which is simply chocolate pudding, crushed oreos, and gummy worms. All you do is crush the oreos, which you could have your kids do to help out, then have them sprinkle the crumbs over the pudding and add some worms! Trust me they will love making and eating this activity!
