Lilly Gets Her Ears Pierced!

Hey Friends! So I was not one of those mama's who had their daughters ears pierced when they were a baby. I believe it should be your own personal preference on when to do it. I know it probably would of been easier if I did it when she was younger but we decided not to and to just WAIT until we could ask her if she wanted to do it. 

Well that time came... We were getting some exercise at our local mall and I asked her if she wanted to get her ears pierced. She said YES!! She was excited and ready to do it, I also think that she was pretty mesmerized with all the fun stuff at Claire's as well. Weren't we all at the age, I know I was! So we spoke to the salesperson and she suggested we make an appointment so that there would be two people so she could get it done all at once. If we only did one at a time Lilly might have been walking out with only one ear pierced. So we made an appointment for this past Sunday and we were ready! Lilly was excited and she was so brave and for the few seconds that the gun pierced her ear she lost it. My mama heart BROKE into a million pieces but I guess the up side to that heartache is that I was there to hug and kiss her and let her know that everything was going to be okay! And it was! 

So here is a glimpse into Lilly' latest adventure! Hold on this will pull at your heart strings!
