Our Homeschool Space

Hey Friends! Today I am back with a new blog post and I am so excited to share our HOMESCHOOL SPACE with all of you! A little back story for you is before we changed this space to a classroom it was our gym/playroom. When Covid hit in March of this year and I had to finish the rest of the year with Lilly at home I needed a space. For the time being, I just used our dining room, but now that I will be homeschooling full-time this year I know that I needed something bigger for both of the kids.

I had some thoughts in my head and my husband and I  took a few nights to clean, organize and then decorate the space. It is in our basement, so it's not super glamorous but I felt I did the best I could with what I had, and that's OKAY! However you are teaching your little ones this year it will be the right choice for you and your family. We are all in this together!

So we cleaned out the space, added some supplies and made it as fun and festive as possible. My favorite part of the space is how colorful it is! I just know that the kids will be super excited to learn and play in this classroom we created for them.

Check out our fun classroom below and let me know your favorite part of the space!

Thanks everyone!

XO

This is our command station if you will, supplies, the book of the week, and
any other materials that we may need for the week!

This is a shelf that will have all of our seasonal books, art supplies,
puzzles, and some toys!

With this calendar I will have the kids help with filling out all the
information for the day. I thought it would be a great interactive
way to get them involved.

I wanted to add this bulletin board for all the kids artwork throughout the year. These two were
from last year!

Here is where the kids will be doing there school work, crafts, and having
their snack. I wanted to label their spots with their names so they can
work on name and letter recognition.

I created this little "reading nook" and I loved how it came out!
