The first thing that you have to do is once you decide where you are going, whether it's going to be hot or cold, look at the weather forecast for the week. Based on that weather report that is how you will figure out your child's outfits for the week. Just remember that weather changes all the time so be prepared and bring extra sets of clothes. If you are going say to the beach, I would bring at least one long sleeve shirt and some pants because it may be cool at night, OR you may run into a rainy day! It's always best to be prepared for anything.
For our vacation we are heading to the BEACH! So this is what I will be packing in the kids bags!
1. We will be there for four FULL days so I will bring about six outfits. ALWAYS bring extra sets of clothes and pajamas.
2. I will bring three sets of pajamas for each child, again, always bring extras.
3. A swimsuit, probably two for Lilly because she LOVES to swim, Hudson not so much but I will bring his just in case.
4. Sunblock, water shoes, sunglasses, beach towels and sun hats.
5. Bath Wash and bath toys.
6. Diapers for Hudson and pull-ups for both kids at night.
7. Medicine and a thermometer. You always need to pack some kind of children medicine for pain and/or fevers and Benadryl for allergic reactions of any sort. You never know what can happen and it's better to be prepared than not.
8. Shoes and Sandals
9. Toothbrushes and Toothpaste
10. The kids daily routine, not that they will be following it, but just for my own sanity I like to have it laid out.
11. A music machine for bedtime, DON'T FORGET THIS!
12. Blankets, sheets and stuffed animals from home!
I know this may sound excessive but TRUST ME, you want to be prepared for anything and that's what I try to do with two little ones!
If there is anything else that you can think of that I forgot please let me know in the comments below!
Thanks guys!!
XO
Kim
